The maximum wireless transmission rate is the physical rate derived from the IEEE 802.11 standard. Actual wireless throughput, wireless coverage, and the number of connected devices are not guaranteed. They will vary depending on network specifications, connected device limitations, and environmental factors, including building construction materials, signal obstructions, traffic volume and density, and the location of connected devices.

To use Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi6 (802.11ax), and functions such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO, connected devices must support these functions. *Wi-Fi models represent IEEE 802.11 a/be/n/ac/ax/be wireless networking standards. All devices are required to support the Wi-Fi 802.11 protocol. Users will need to use an additional modem device compatible with their Internet Service Provider to access the Internet.

Using 2.5 Gbps internet requires an internet package from your service provider and a supported device. Actual speed may be limited by the speed of the device's WAN or LAN port, the speed supported by the cable, factors from your internet service provider, and other environmental conditions.

To use WPA3, the connected device must also support the feature.

Reduced Latency refers to the latency improvement of a Wi-Fi 7 router compared to a Wi-Fi 6/6E router, based on TP-Link test results. The test conditions were the same as for a single 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz wireless frequency band, and the maximum latency of a Wi-Fi 7 client (with MLO enabled) connected to the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands of the Archer BE400 (with MLO enabled) simultaneously, and connected to the 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz bands of a Wi-Fi 6/6E router (without MLO function).
