It has easily accessible Ethernet ports with per-port LED indicators to easily distinguish link status. Auto MDI/MDIX crossover makes connections a breeze. The DES-1008C uses 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, which automatically saves power and reduces heat without sacrificing performance or functionality. It can detect when connected computers are shut down or when there is no Ethernet traffic. and will put the port in standby mode. This saves a lot of energy. Additionally, the switch optimizes power consumption for each port based on the length of the connected cable. Using only as much energy as necessary. These two features work together to help you save energy automatically.

DES-1008C is a Plug-and-Play device. that does not need to be configured Therefore, the setup is simple and hassle-free. And you can connect multiple computers, share files, music, and videos across your home or small office network. or even create a multiplayer gaming environment. 802.3x flow control on each port reduces dropped packets when the port's receive buffer is full.
