  • Close unused ports
    When a computer or network device is off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch will still consume a lot of power. TL-SG108 can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of the idle port, resulting in a power saving of up to 82%.


  • Energy budget by length
    Cables In principle, shorter cables will consume less power due to less energy degradation along the length. This is not the case for most devices, as the power will be consumed equally across the entire cable regardless of length.
