Kirby can suck air into his body, and he'll have to use that ability to venture into unknown lands when he discovers that a large number of Waddle Dees have been kidnapped by the Beast Pack!

Kirby sets out on a journey with Elfilin, a friend he met in the New World, to rescue Waddle Dees.

In this thrilling adventure, you'll use Kirby's skills to battle enemies and explore 3D environments. Explore a world of nature and ancient civilizations, interwoven into diverse areas packed with platforming challenges, as you embark on a journey to free the captured Waddle Dees at the finish line of each level. You'll need to explore every nook and cranny to save as many Waddle Dees as you can along the way!

The Beast Pack has some fun challenges in store for you, as in addition to Kirby's signature copying abilities, Kirby also has new skills like Drill and Ranger! Burrow with the copying skill Drill to deal massive blows to enemies from beneath, and easily dispatch enemies with the copying skill Ranger, which lets you target enemies from far away.

Kirby can have a companion! When you invite a friend or family member to join you on your adventure, the second player can play as Bandana Waddle Dee, who can use his spear to perform a variety of attacks. Quickly jump into two-player* play on the same console by sharing a Joy-Con... especially when you want to get extra exciting!

Kirby and the Forgotten Land also features Waddle Dee Town, the hub of your adventures. The town grows with each level you save, and you'll see shops open and you can play games popular with the townspeople.

Kirby can also help out at the Waddle Dee Café. You'll need to quickly prepare customer orders to satisfy them and earn a high score. You may also encounter Wise Waddle Dee in Waddle Dee Town, who will give you helpful hints.
