D-Link DGS-1016C/F/E
The DGS-1016C lets you enjoy fast wired connectivity with 16 Gigabit LAN ports and easy plug-and-play installation. It even reduces power to ports when there is no data transmission and adjusts power consumption for ports based on the length of the connected cable, enabling you to save more energy in your SOHO or SMB network.
With data transfer speeds of up to 2000 Mbps at full duplex, these switches are ideal for fast file transfers. They feature easy-to-access Ethernet ports with per-port LEDs to easily distinguish link status. Auto MDI/MDIX crossover simplifies connectivity. Just plug in and you’re ready to go.
The DGS-1016C uses 802.3az Energy-saving Ethernet, which automatically saves power and reduces heat without compromising performance or functionality. The switch can detect when a connected computer is shut down or when there is no Ethernet transmission, and can automatically reduce the power used for that port, significantly reducing power consumption. In addition, the switch optimizes the power consumption for each port based on the length of the connected cable, using only as much power as necessary. These two features work together to help you automatically save power.
The DGS-1016C is a plug-and-play device that requires no configuration, so setup is simple and hassle-free. You can easily connect multiple computers, share files, music, and videos across your home or small office network, or even create a multiplayer gaming environment. 802.3x flow control on each port reduces dropped packets when the port's receive buffer is full. All ports on the switch have up to 4 kV surge protection to improve network reliability.
These switches support QoS, which prioritizes network traffic to efficiently deliver time-sensitive data even during heavy traffic. This ensures the best possible experience for streaming media and VoIP calls.
